Do you know an amazing young person in Ontario that deserves to be recognized for their incredible work during the COVID-19 pandemic?
The Top Leaders Under 30 was started as a way to give young people recognition that they deserve and may not get otherwise due to not meeting the criteria for other community awards. Since its inception, some of those recognized here on this list have also been featured on other “Top” lists across Canada, and have been nominated for (and some have won) industry awards!
Normally, I run this list once a year around Christmas/New Years as a way to say “thanks” for the recipients’ hard work and dedication over the course of the calendar year. However, given our current state and projections that look like we will be in this state for awhile to come, I felt that now is the time to run a special edition of this list. SO, if you know of a young person under the age of 30 anywhere in Ontario that is doing incredible things during this “incredible” time, here is the place to do it!
They can do anything at all- from “essentials” runs for their neighbour(hood), to retooling their business, to launching a business, to launching a social enterprise or helping to solve a social issue. You name it, if they have done something incredible in the province of Ontario and they are under 30, they are eligible! It can be an individual or a team effort. Share their stories and get them exposure!
Don’t wait until later to give your young leader the recognition they deserve now! The deadline for nominations is May 31st!
If you would like to provide more info regarding why they deserve to be recognized, please send a separate email to Rachael Tracey at email@example.com with the subject line “Additional Nomination Information: (insert your nominee’s name here)”.
If your nominee is successful, I will send out an email to all of the address(es) provided asking for consent to publish their name and photo. If the nominee is under 18, please be sure to include their parents email as well if known. If consent is not obtained by the deadline, the nominee will be removed from the list. Obtaining this consent is a requirement for being featured on the list, and something that’s very important to me as someone who works with young people on a regular basis.
