Kicking off award season little early this year, and I’m giving Top Leaders Under 30 a name change!
This way, I hope that more people put forward epic young & new leaders to celebrate the amazing things that they are doing in the province. I’m also changing tact a bit with regards to age limits. To put it simply, there is none. If COVID-19 has taught me anything besides the fact that I was apparently washing my hands wrong, it’s that leadership and new ideas has no age range. Some of the most innovative ideas I’ve heard have come from 13 year-olds and some of the most unexpected first-time leaders are in their 70s.
I’m keeping the same rules as Top Leaders Under 30: That they be someone who is:
- Passionate about what they do;
- Dedicated to making difference in their community, and;
- A resident of Ontario.
As demonstrated in previous lists, they don’t necessarily need to be business owners, as the emphasis is on providing recognition to those who truly deserve it and might not get it otherwise. This isn’t restricted to individuals either, as I would love to highlight groups flying under the radar.
Nominate someone or a group today! This is open to all residents of Ontario, and the person must be residing in Ontario.
If you would like to provide more info regarding why they deserve to be recognized, please send a separate email to Rachael Tracey at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “Additional Nomination Information: (insert your nominee’s name here)”.
If your nominee is successful, I will send out an email to the address(es) provided asking for consent to publish their name and photo. If consent is not obtained by the deadline, the nominee will be removed from the list. Obtaining this consent is a requirement for being featured on the list, and something that’s very important to me as someone who works with young people on a regular basis.
